Tama Lake & Sayama Park

Today was such nice a nice day. The weather was like a nice Spring day. Pretty sunny with a nice cool breeze. I think it was only around 25 degrees today.

So I decided to explore around Tama Lake and Sayama Park, which are in Michael’s area. So it only took me a few minutes to get there by bike.

I visited Tama Lake a few times last time I was in Japan, and I loved it there. It was just as peaceful this time.

Sayama Park is right next to the lake, so I headed there next. It was really peaceful there too. Full of greenery, butterflies and other insects flying around. I loved it there.

^ little caterpillar!

I found this pond within the park, which I immediately fell in love with.

(After some Googling I found out it is called Yakebe Pond)

^ there were massive fish swimming around. They were seriously the size of baby sharks. If not bigger. They were feisty too!

I sat on the boardwalk at the pond for a while, it was really nice.

^ I saw these spiders everywhere today! They grossed me out. I’m surprised at how close I got to this one to take a photo of it..

From the park I headed to Passport, the cheap little grocery store I go to a lot, to buy some milk and butter. I also grabbed some cream cheese and made a lemon cream cheese cake when I got home.

^ I decorated it with crushed white cookies and coconut chips. I haven’t tasted it yet, It looks too good to eat!
