Last Day

I know I haven’t blogged at all lately, but that’s because I haven’t done anything overly exciting!

I am going home to Australia today. A week earlier than originally planned, but I am pretty homesick and I have ran out of my holiday money!

I do have some photos to share, but my cameras are packed away in my suitcases. So if I am feeling motivated I will post them maybe later on in the week when I’m back home :)

~

I am going to miss Japan so much… Just like I did last time.. But I know I’ll be back again someday!

So not a great deal has happened since my last blog post. I’ve just been exploring around more, spending money, spending more money at arcades trying to win stuffed toys in the skill tester machines…

On the weekend Michael and I went to Shinjuku for some shopping and lunch, and on Sunday we planned to go to Tokyo DisneySea.. but we overslept!

Monday was a public holiday so we went then instead. It was pretty fun, even though it was really hot and we were tired!

~

Today I helped out in the kitchen again at Michael’s work. Then I went to Costco with Susan to help her grab some stuff and I also bought some cookies, ice cream and granola for Michael and I. Oops :P

Tomorrow is another public holiday, but I don’t know what Michael and I will get up to. We haven’t planned anything just yet.

Yes, I am still alive.

Yes, I am still alive. I have just been really lazy with blogging.

But having said that, I haven’t really had much exciting stuff to blog about..

Tomorrow Michael and I are going to Tokyo DisneySea. Which is like Disneyland, but better!

If I’m not feeling too lazy I will post photos on Tuesday :P

Tama Lake & Sayama Park

Today was such nice a nice day. The weather was like a nice Spring day. Pretty sunny with a nice cool breeze. I think it was only around 25 degrees today.

So I decided to explore around Tama Lake and Sayama Park, which are in Michael’s area. So it only took me a few minutes to get there by bike.

I visited Tama Lake a few times last time I was in Japan, and I loved it there. It was just as peaceful this time.

Sayama Park is right next to the lake, so I headed there next. It was really peaceful there too. Full of greenery, butterflies and other insects flying around. I loved it there.

^ little caterpillar!

I found this pond within the park, which I immediately fell in love with.

(After some Googling I found out it is called Yakebe Pond)

^ there were massive fish swimming around. They were seriously the size of baby sharks. If not bigger. They were feisty too!

I sat on the boardwalk at the pond for a while, it was really nice.

^ I saw these spiders everywhere today! They grossed me out. I’m surprised at how close I got to this one to take a photo of it..

~

From the park I headed to Passport, the cheap little grocery store I go to a lot, to buy some milk and butter. I also grabbed some cream cheese and made a lemon cream cheese cake when I got home.

^ I decorated it with crushed white cookies and coconut chips. I haven’t tasted it yet, It looks too good to eat!
